What else is new at FRED? Gryphon Bookshelf series #10 arrives in the form of Cornucopia. In Cornucopia, your goal is to fill your basket with a bountiful collection of fruits and vegetables while at the same time, correctly predicting just how long it will take you to fill that basket. The gameplay is deceptively simple, but the bidding and scoring systems add a level of group excitement and strategy to the game. Cornucopia is an excellent introductory game along the lines of Incan Gold; it is easy to teach, involves players all the time and has an inviting theme. Playable in 45-60 minutes, 2-5 players, age 8 and up, MSRP $25.99

Next up is SWAT!, SWAT! joins Musketeers and Desperados in the Tin Box series and reimplements the Reiner Knizia classic It's Mine. The colorful artwork and simple gameplay make this a great game for friends and family and the push-your-luck element and game length make it a super filler when you have a half hour to show those bugs who's boss. Playable in 20-30 minutes, 2-7 players, age 7 and up, MSRP $14.99

En Garde joins 2 de Mayo in our Gryphon Game Two Player Series. Three levels of rules are included in the game; teach yourselves the concepts with the basic game, test yourselves with the standard game, and challenge yourselves with the advanced game. Playable in 20-30 minutes, 2 players, age 13 and up, MSRP $29.99
